| The new S1 Supreme is designed primarily for competitive racing. An intelligent mix of tradition and technology makes the S1 Supreme superbly reliable as well as impressively innovative. The S1 Supreme is made using the latest production technology but maintains the excellent technical, functional and stylistic characteristics of previous models. Lighter weight (850 grams +/- 30 for the frame alone) and improved comfort have been achieved with no loss of reliability, stability, durability or stiffness. To make the S1 Supreme even more exclusive, we have employed innovative technical solutions on various parts of the frame, including new, Slim Vertical Comfort seat stays, a BB30 bottom bracket, internally routed cables (Cable Inside Dynamic System), integrated carbon fibre dropouts and a 1" 1/8 – 1" ½ Drive Control tapered headset. |

| 1 SLIM VERTICAL COMFORT The key benefits of the Slim Vertical Comfort system are the excellent flexibility and comfort obtained from the ultra-thin triangular section seat stays that combine vertical flexibility with high torsional rigidity. 2 BB30 The BB30 bottom bracket has almost become a standard component for ensuring improved stiffness at the point of maximum thrust. 3 HEAD SET TUBE The headset tube is designed to combine improved stability with lightness and greater steering precision, and incorporates a 1” 1/8 - 1” ½ Drive Control tapered headset. 4 DERAILLEUR HANGER The integrated, direct fit derailleur hanger is interchangeable and made from anodised aluminium. 5 DROP OUT The integrated chainstays are made entirely from carbon fibre while the dropouts are made from CNC anodised aluminium. 6 INTERNAL CABLES All our new S1 Supreme frames feature Cable Inside Dynamic System internally routed cables for smoother action and greater cleanliness. |
